Renovation and extension of a large country home

Refurbishment of a country house and construction of a new annexe extension clad in based and inspired on a Danish Summer House. Slim oak panels wrap around both the walls and roof concealing certain openings to provide privacy. The interior is clad in large birch plywood panels giving the home a minimalist Scandinavian feel, resonating with the owners heritage. The Main House and Annexe are connected by a new glazed link to flood the existing house with light and bridge the old with new.
